Step 3.3: Now we actually have to right the script it's fairly simple. Step 3.2: Now you need to edit the script Right-Click on your newly created AutoHotkey Script (NBA_2K16_Custom_Controls in my case) and select "Edit Script" You'll be prompted for a name call it whatever you want really eg "NBA_2K16_Custom_Controls". Right-Click scroll down to "New" and select "AutoHotkey Script". Step 3.1: After Autohotkey has been downloaded and installed. Step 2(Optional): Download the NBA2K15 PC manual to get your bearings on some of the standard controls, I know they've added new controls but the majority of the controls are the same. The solution involves creating a custom key mapping script using Autohotkey. Now that the unpleaseantaries are out of the way lets move on to the PC Keyboard Controls workaround shall we.Steps are as follows Any help would be greatly appreciated.Firstly let me start off by saying what 2K has subjected us PC gamers to is frankly quite appalling and it disheartens me. I'll post the script at the end, but I was just wondering if there was anything I can do until an eventual patch comes out. Even without the script running, the keys are mostly unresponsive. On the menu screen I use 2 like the enter key, but when it tells me to press 2 in M圜areer, it is unresponsive. After the first cutscene none of the keys really work except for the movement controls (WASD and the arrow keys). I'm able to play the game using my usual controls against the computer, but when I go into M圜areer I can't really do anything. The only thing I'm having an issue with is M圜areer. It's really the only viable solution for now and I got it to work very quickly. Mrlyrical wrote:Hi JJPooh! Thank you for posting this fix. Here is a List of keys, mouse buttons etc: Here is a video on youtube explaining it all: I would advise you when starting to map those keys, try with one or two controls, see if its working and then map the rest. I think NumLock should be ON while using the script. When ya'll ready and set run the script, you will see it highlighted in green in the tray. Let me show my script with onlyĪs you can see, all i wanted is to replace Numpad1 and Numpad3 with Numpad0 and NumpadDot, that's how it's done.Ĥ. Let me explain: in this code 0 will map and replace Numpad0, 1 will map and replace Numpad1. go to your desktop and right click with you mouse - select new - and select Autohotkey Script, you can name it 2k16 or anything you wantĢ.1 now you have to edit the script, right click on it and press editĢ.2 you need to paste the following code underneath (do not delete the text that is already in the script): Who use keyboard to play 2k16 need to change more than just two controls, so it may take some more time to do it so.Ģ. Now some more details, for me it was just changing two controls from the default one, which i'm using since 2k9 and i pretty used to it. I just found a possible temporary fix of how to customize your keyboard controls until 2k comes up with a patch or something.
